Topflight speedway will return to Oxford Stadium for the first time in 16 years on Thursday, March 14, when Oxford Spires host Birmingham Brummies in the Sports Insure Premiership.
The Spires will make their Premiership debut on home shale against the Perry Barr outfit before back-to-back meetings against Sheffield Tigers – featuring three-times World Champion Tai Woffinden – round off the month.
Four fixtures, including two at home, take place in April with Ipswich Witches and King’s Lynn Stars due to visit OX4 on April 11 and April 25 respectively.
Leicester Lions and the world-famous Belle Vue Aces visit in May before the division’s second round of fixtures starts in June with the end-of-season play-offs scheduled for September.
