Oxford Stadium has slashed general admission and hospitality package prices for greyhound fixtures in September following a hugely successful launch of National Greyhound Week.
General admission for Friday evening and Saturday afternoon racing has been cut to £5 while Fab5 Packages for the same fixtures can now be booked in advance for only £7.95.
The Stadium’s panoramic restaurant will also be open on Friday evenings only with racegoers able to enjoy a two-course meal and receive entry and a programme for £17.95 with U16s priced £7.95.
Monday racegoers can also take advantage of the Cowley venue’s latest deals with admission, a race programme and curry and chips included in the stadium’s £3.95 Monday offer.
Managing Director Kevin Boothby wants the cost-friendly packages to inspire those who enjoyed their first taste of live greyhound racing during National Greyhound Week to connect further with the sport.
“We were overwhelmed by the support received from the Oxfordshire public to mark National Greyhound Week,” said Kevin. “To continue building on this positive momentum, we’re pleased to launch a series of September Specials.
“This will make a night at Oxford Stadium not only cost-friendly to local people hit by the cost-of-living crisis, but also represent the best value evening of entertainment in the entire county.
“There was a terrific buzz on the terraces as we rounded off a spectacular summer of racing, which was no doubt headlined by Links Maverick’s epic Pall Mall triumph in July. Although the nights are drawing in and the evenings will start to get colder, we have every intention of making this autumn and winter an equal success – particularly as we approach Christmas.”
