Oxford Stadium is pleased to confirm Coppice Lizzie as our first Greyhound of the Month winner for September!
Coppice Lizzie – who celebrates her second birthday next month – is trained by Burford-based Kevin Hutton and started her racing career in June.
She started September in A6 grade having jumped up from A8 where she ran four times and won once.
After finishing fifth in her first race of the month, Coppice Lizzie finished runner-up in another A6 contest on September 8 after missing the start from trap one. She followed that up with back-to-back wins on September 18 and September 23 and is now proven at A4 grade.
Congratulations to everyone concerned, including owner Mr A Brealey who will receive a trophy and a complimentary meal for four at a race night of his choice at Oxford Stadium in our Savana Bar and Restaurant.
