At Oxford Stadium, we prioritise finding retired greyhounds who enjoyed long and happy careers a loving home in their retirement.
This week, we’d like to introduce Rocky – aka Unlikely Rocket – to you!
Rocky is a very talented greyhound who turns four next month. Sadly had to retire from the sport last summer after he broke his hock. Rocky has since made a full recovery thanks to the GBGB’s Injury Recovery Scheme (IRS) and is now ready to start a new chapter in his life at a family home.
Weighing 39kg, Rocky is a gentle giant who is fantastic around children. Unfortunately, Rocky won’t be able to make it in person to Oxford Stadium this weekend, however we are keen to find this loving boy a home as soon as possible!
If you like the look of Rocky and would like to enquire about a home visit, please call our retired greyhound volunteer Wayne Mazey on 07969 263560 for more details!
