Last week, the gorgeous Leon – aka Waikiki Seat – was our first Retired Greyhound of the Week as part of our ongoing Loved in Retirement campaign.
This week, we have a new greyhound to bring you in search of a loving forever home.
Meet Terry – aka Distant Terry!
Terry is a blue dog and was born in June 2019. He is quite a shy greyhound but is a loving soul once he gets to know any human.
His racing career was ended prematurely in June 2022 when he injured his stopper bone.
Terry has since made a full recovery and is proud of his outstanding career on track which included 76 runs and 16 wins – including one open race triumph at Romford after making a major step up from A5.
He is tested with other breeds of dogs and is very friendly, making him suitable for a family who already own a four-legged friend. Like the majority of greyhounds, Terry is fantastic around children too and would be a great addition to any family.
